WE LIVE IN A POLICE STATE
NDAA was signed into law by President Obama on New Year’s Eve 2011.
President Obama stated in a signing statement:
“This upholds the values on which this country was founded.”
The values on which this country was founded include:
Magna Carta of June 15, 1219, no one can be punished except by the law of the land. The King was deprived of the power to order imprisonment or death at his will.
Habeas Corpus of 1679, common law right to a trial if accused of a crime.
Posse Comitatus of 1879, bans the military forces of the United States from participating in arrests, searches, seizure of evidence and other police like activity on U.S. soil.
ALL THESE VALUES WERE DESTROYED WITH THE PASSAGE OF NDAA 2011
This new law allows the President the power to indefinitely detain citizens by using the military on American soil against American citizens. It further states the power to send these American citizens to foreign nation for enhanced interrogation.
Since Oct. 5, 2011, the President claims the right to place an American citizen on a ‘kill list’ if suspected of being or supporting a terrorist. No charges must be filed and no trial is needed.
The PATRIOT act of 2001 allows American citizens to be imprisoned if suspected of being a ‘terrorist’, or aiding a ‘terrorist’ organization. Under present law you may be a terrorist if:
You criticize the federal government
You use cash to purchase things
You store food or medical supplies
You own a gun and ammunition
You stand still while near a federal building
You write something down while near a federal building
You use a pair of binoculars
You protest for animal rights near a medical lab
You take more than $2,000.00 in cash out of your bank account
IF YOU ARE ‘SUSPECTED’ OF BEING A ‘TERRORIST’ NO CHARGES NEED BE MADE AND YOU HAVE NO RIGHT TO A TRIAL!
